Due to recent unforeseen mechanical failures, and circumstances beyond our control the City was unable to pick up any recycle on Wednesday, August 3, 2022.  The City was able to pick up a portion of residential garbage customers on that same Wednesday, August 3, 2022.  The City was able to procure a new recycle trailer this week, and our recycle services will resume on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 as regularly scheduled. The City of Lorena has also coordinated with a contractor to collect our residential garbage while our garbage truck is being repaired.  For those customers who’s garbage did not get picked up on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 your garbage will not be picked up until Wednesday August 10, 2022.  You can place your excess bagged garbage next to our canister for collection on Wednesday, August 10, 2022.  Please note the excess bagged trash exception is only for those customers who did not get serviced this past Wednesday. All excess trash beside the canister MUST BE BAGGED!!!  The City of Lorena wants to thank everyone for their patience and cooperation during this difficult time, and apologizes for any inconvenience that this disruption may have caused.
